One person suffers minor injuries in Martindale home fire

Sudbury emergency medical services treated a person for minor burns at the scene of a house fire on Martindale Road Friday night.

The person was evacuated from the home, and three people have been displaced by the fire.

Greater Sudbury Fire Servies said the blaze caused $100,000 in damages to the home.

Fire damage was moderate and smoke damage was severe, they said.

Seventeen firefighters responded to the fire, and were able to extinguish it shortly after their arrival.
