The workshop aims to provide attendees with tools to effectively communicate ideas to elected officials. Presentations will focus on holding MPs and MPPs accountable for promises and ways in which to get issues noticed on their agenda. The panelist presentations will be followed by questions and discussion with the participants.

The three panelists include Brennain Llyod, a project coordinator with Northwatch, a regional coalition of environmental organizations, Cathy Orlando, scientist and national manager of Canada's Citizens Climate lobby, and Richard Eberhardt, the Northern Ontario organizer for the New Democratic Party.

Admission is free for reThink Green and Forge members and $5 for the general public. The workshop will take place at The Green Room at 176 Larch Street, Suite 301 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Participants are invited to the Laughing Buddha following the workshop for informal discussion over dinner.
