Thibeault opens constituency office in New Sudbury

Sudbury MPP Glenn Thibeault has opened his constituency office on 555 Barrydowne Rd., in Greenvale Court beside Rexall pharmacy in New Sudbury.

“I’m happy to be serving constituents at a location that is accessible to the public and has loads of free parking,” Thibeault said in a news release Tuesday.

The office is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fridays by appointment only. For more information, contact the constituency office at 705-675-1914.

Thibeault won the Feb. 5 byelection in Sudbury, and on Monday was named parliamentary assistant to Glenn Murray, the minister of the Environment and Climate Change.

Thibeault will focus on the issue of climate change and will also participate in meetings of the ministers’ Table on Climate Change and sit on the communities, resources and justice policy committee.
