Champions for Children feted at 15th ceremony

Our Children, Our Future announced a slate of new Champions for Children for 2015.

Champions for Children are people and organizations who are caring, concerned and committed to making a difference in the lives of children. This year marked the 15th year for the awards.

“There are many wonderful people in our communities selflessly giving their time, energy and resources every single day for children,” said John Whitehead, honorary chair for Our Children, Our Future. “Many of them don't think of it as volunteering. Quite honestly, they just do it because it seems like the right thing to do. Their hearts are in the right place.”

The 2015 Champions for Children are:
