Local artist Pandora Topp worked with the Grade 7 and 8 students from Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l'Ontario (CSPGNO) schools to help them create the portraits.

An opening ceremony featuring Marie-Clarie Vignola, a local Métis woman, will be held May 4 at 1 p.m. The exhibition will be open to the public May 4-8 between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The event is part of CSPGNO's Education Week activities.

“Students and teachers will take part in a wide variety of dynamic activities and unforgettable educational experiences” as part of education week, a press release said.
