Setting goals is important. But while setting goals is one thing, achieving them is quite another.

Students at Marymount Academy will be getting a little lesson in that this afternoon.

Brad Jacobs, the Olympic gold medalist in curling, vists the school today to speak with the entire student body on the topic of goal-setting — and achieving the goals you set.

Jacobs is from Sault Ste. Marie. The current skip of the Canadian men's championship team, Jacobs led Canada to a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

He is also the 2013 Tim Hortons Brier championship skip and was the 2013 World Championship runner-up. A five-time Northern Ontario provincial champion, Jacobs is also a one-time provincial junior champion.
