But before any medieval jousting takes place, they need to fill the roles of the Knights of the Round Table. Auditions will be held by appointment June 1 and June 3.

“We are giddy with excitement to be producing SPAMalot here at Theatre Cambrian,” said executive director Mark Mannisto. “SPAMalot is going to be one of the funniest musical productions we have staged in a while. Every theatre that has staged this mega musical has been packed to the rafters. We certainly are lucky to be staging this show.”

Lovingly ripped off from the classic comedy film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” SPAMalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy (or possibly a brace) of beautiful show girls, witch burnings (cancelled ... too expensive) not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people.

The show features the hilarious songs “He is Not Dead Yet,” “Knights Of The Round Table,” “Find Your Grail,” and, of course, the world’s favourite comedy song, “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.”

To book a private audition, call phone 705-524-7317.
