Food bank raises more than $240K for spring allocations

The Sudbury Food Bank board is able to disburse more than $240,000 to 48 member agencies for spring allocations, its board of directors announced. The funds for spring allocations were raised over the past six months.

The Sudbury Food Bank board is able to disburse more than $240,000 to 48 member agencies for spring allocations, its board of directors announced.

The funds for spring allocations were raised over the past six months.

The food bank has collected and distributed more than 3,241 tons of perishable and non-perishable food items since its inception thanks to the support of the people, partners, volunteers and businesses in the community.

The Sudbury Food Bank is dedicated to the alleviation of hunger for those living in the region Greater Sudbury and ensuring that every person in our communities has enough to eat.
