Mayor Brian Bigger proclaimed the week of May 24-30 as Paramedic Week in Greater Sudbury at a ceremony at the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre in Azilda this morning.
Paramedics were on hand to demonstrate how to perform hands-only CPR — and gave a few pointers to the mayor in the process — as well as demonstrate various types of equipment.
