Sudbury cultural mosaic on display Canada Day

Despite the gloomy weather Wednesday morning, the Sudbury Multicultural and Folk Arts Association kicked off its annual Canada Day celebration with a short, but colourful parade from Memorial Park to the Sudbury Arena.

The Greater Sudbury Police Services Pipe Band led a delegation of local cultural associations spanning the globe.

Visitors got a taste of delicious food from around the world, and were entertained by a series of performances representing each association's cultural heritage.
