Friends of Lake Laurentian's third annual Friends and Family Outdoor Adventure Day kicks off on July 11.
The event will be held at the Lake Laurentian Nature Chalet (2309 South Bay Rd.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Outdoor adventures that your family can take part in for free on that day include: canoeing, archery, pond studies, hikes, and fishing.
July 11 falls toward the end of Ontario Family Fishing week (July 4 -12), so no fishing licenses are required.
Fishing gear and free bait will be available courtesy of the OFAH Tackleshare program and Ramakkos. All ages are welcome.
No registration is required – drop in any time.
