OPP locate missing woman near Blind River

Update: July 6, 9:45 p.m. On July 6 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blind River reported a female missing from the Granary Lake area north of Blind River. At 7:50 p.m.

Update: July 6, 9:45 p.m.

On July 6 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blind River reported a female missing from the Granary Lake area north of Blind River.

At 7:50 p.m. members from the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), with the assistance of a marine unit located the missing female. She was found safe and sound within the area.

The Ontario Provincial Police Blind River Detachment is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing female.  

On July 6, 2015 at 3:25 p.m. the Blind River OPP received a call of a missing female from a camp on Granary Lake north of Blind River. 

Karie Lynn Serra , 38-years-old was last seen on July 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at her camp, on Granary Lake which is approximately 10 km north of Blind River. 

Serra left on foot and is described at 5’ 2”, 115 lbs with a slim build, straight dirty blonde hair sometimes worn in a ponytail, and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing grey shorts a white t-shirt.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this missing person should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
