Two movies being shot in town this week

You may hear some gun fire tonight if you're down town. An independent Canadian company will be filming at a residence on Laura Avenue this evening. The filming will be taking place between 6 p.m. tonight and 6 a.m.

You may hear some gun fire tonight if you're down town.

An independent Canadian company will be filming at a residence on Laura Avenue this evening. The filming will be taking place between 6 p.m. tonight and 6 a.m. tomorrow and may include simulated gun fire.

The Greater Sudbury Police have put out a notice as a pre-warning so that local residents in the area are not alarmed. The filming and noises will be in a controlled environment and members of GSPS will be present.

There will also be filming taking place from the evening of July 30 to the morning of July 31 in the Beatty Street area of downtown Sudbury.
 
Film crews will be on site at McNeill Boulevard, and Granite, McKim and Beatty Streets from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, to 6:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31. During this time, brief traffic interruptions may occur.
 
Production vehicles and equipment may also be parked in the area.
