No pools or libraries on Civic Holiday

The City of Greater Sudbury has released their municipal schedule for Civic Holiday, Monday Aug. 3. Many of the city's services will be closed, such as Tom Davies Square and recreation facilities.

The City of Greater Sudbury has released their municipal schedule for Civic Holiday, Monday Aug. 3.

Many of the city's services will be closed, such as Tom Davies Square and recreation facilities.

The City of Greater Sudbury municipal service schedule for Aug. 3 is as follows:
 
  • Tom Davies Square will be closed.
  • Citizen Service Centres and libraries will be closed.
  • Garbage and recycling collection are unaffected by this holiday. Greater Sudbury landfills and the Recycling Centre will be closed.
  • Municipally-operated recreation facilities and pools will be closed.
  • Greater Sudbury Transit buses will operate on a Sunday service schedule.
