Northern tourism board seeking new members

Do you have something to offer tourism in Northern Ontario? Northeastern Ontario Tourism (NeONT) is now accepting applications for its volunteer board of directors. 

Board seats representing the following sectors are currently open:
 
Major Urban Centre – North Bay
Smaller Urban Centre – North
Aboriginal Sector – North
Attractions Sector – Anywhere within the NeONT Region
Fishing/Hunting Sector – Sudbury District
 
Northeastern Ontario Tourism is looking for individuals who have broad tourism experience, who have earned the respect of their peers, and who have demonstrated innovation and success.

NeONT is looking for skilled individuals to help diversify the strengths of its current board and to help the organization expand tourism opportunities in northeastern Ontario.

Relevant experience in tourism product development, workforce development, investment attraction, or marketing is an asset.
 
NeONT is a not-for-profit association that represents the tourism industry in Northeastern Ontario by building partnerships with industry members  and working to increase visitor awareness about the Region that extends from the French River to the James Bay Coast, and from the Quebec/Ontario border to Spanish.
