The Sudbury and District Health Unit has removed the signs that advised against swimming at Whitewater Lake Park beach.

The most recent water samples taken at the beach by the health unit are within acceptable bacteriological water quality standards for bathing beaches, SDHU said in a release today.

The health unit takes water samples weekly during the summer from 33 local beaches. For information about beach water quality, visit SDHU.com.
