Cambrian Ford recently kicked off its annual campaign for United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts.

The campaign was launched Aug. 26 with a barbecue for employees. Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd., attended the event.

“Supporting the communities where we live and work is important to Ford, our employees and our dealers,” said Craig.

“Scott McCulloch and Cambrian Ford’s partnership with the United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts is a perfect example of how our dealers go further for their communities and their customers every day.”

Cambrian Ford has been a supporter of United Way for more than 10 years through corporate gifts and employee donations.

Last year, Cambrian Ford raised $6,500 locally through the “Give Back to the Community” charity event — for every new car purchased in October, the dealership donated $100 to the annual United Way campaign.

Ford of Canada has donated more than $1 million to United Ways across Canada.
