After spike earlier this week, gas prices dropping

After jumping about four cents per litre earlier this week, Sudbury's gas prices are back down about one cent per litre. Most gas stations in the city are charging about 113.6, according to GasBuddy.com . The cheapest gas in the city is 111.

The cheapest gas in the city is 111.9, at the Independent at the Pumps on Lorne. The city's most expensive gas is 114.9. Several local gas stations are charging that price, including the Shell on Notre Dame, the Petro Canada at Lorne and Dean streets, the Shell in Hanmer, UPI Energy in Chelmsford, the Esso in Azilda and the Petro Canada in Chelmsford.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, the gas price is 105.7 to 105.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario is 105.5. The cheapest gas in Ontario today is 84.9, and can be found in Muncey.
