Gas prices spike about four cents per litre

Bad news for Sudbury drivers — gas prices at most local stations jumped about four cents per litre over the past day. Most gas stations are now charging 114.9, according to GasBuddy.com .

Bad news for Sudbury drivers — gas prices at most local stations jumped about four cents per litre over the past day.

Most gas stations are now charging 114.9, according to GasBuddy.com. Cheap gas is still to be found at some stations, though, including the Byrnes in Azilda, which is charging 108.9. The most expensive gas in the city is at the Shell on Notre Dame Avenue, at 119.9.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas costs between 105.7 and 105.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 105.4. The cheapest gas in the province costs 84.9, in Muncey.
