Sudbury Conservative candidate Fred Slade is hosting Dr. Kellie Leitch, MP for Simcoe Grey, on Tuesday at the Holiday Inn in Sudbury at 5:30 p.m.

“It is a pleasure to have the support of one of Canada’s most respected Members of Parliament,” Slade said in a news release Friday. “Dr. Leitch is an accomplished pediatric surgeon, she is a true advocate for Canadians, especially in her role as Minister for the Status of Women and Minister of Labour.”

Leitch is looking forward to her visit to Sudbury, the release said.

“Sudbury needs strong leadership in Ottawa,” Leitch said in the release. “Fred Slade will be a positive and strong representative for Sudburians. It will be a big plus for the Sudbury riding to have him as their MP.

“His integrity and sincerity are well known to many in the community and the job will get done well with Fred as the elected member. Sudbury needs to elect him.”
