Students, parents, friends, and families who are considering college and the many careers it can lead to are invited to learn more about their options through the province-wide College Information Program.

Representatives from Cambrian College and many of Ontario’s other community colleges will be visiting Sudbury on Oct. 13 and Espanola on Oct. 14.

Sudbury’s event will feature dozens of booths with college reps from across Ontario, who are ready to answer questions about how to choose a program, how to apply, how to prepare for college, and how to pay for it.

In Espanola, students will have the chance to imagine themselves in amazing careers using green screen technology through an interactive “Picture Your Future” experience.

It allows students to dress up in work wear, including full uniforms. They also get props and a realistic backdrop, to literally “try on” different jobs, including careers in emergency services, aviation, social services and the arts.

Parents and students will also have a chance to find out about programs choices, services, and residence options at all of Ontario’s community colleges.

The Espanola event will take place at Espanola High School from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 14.
