October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the colour pink is commonly associated with the fight against the disease.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women in Canada. One in nine Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes.

The ManiCURES event took place at Magnolia Hair and Day Spa, 212 Elm St.

The ManiCURES fundraising campaign was held in communities across Ontario.
