On Nov. 4, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is holding a three-tiered panel discussion on the Oct. 19 federal election results.

“Join experts as they discuss key issues that will affect Canada, Ontario and Northern Ontario moving forward,” a release from the chamber says. “This is an interactive session that you can't afford to miss.”

The panel will include:

  • Hendrik Brakel, senior director, economic, financial and tax policy, Canadian Chamber of Commerce; 
  • Karl Baldauf, vice-president, policy and government relations, Ontario Chamber of Commerce; and,  
  • Charles Cirtwill, president and CEO, Northern Policy Institute 

The moderator will be Patricia Mills, president of patriciaAmills inc., a specialized advisory and marketing firm for select clients that was launched in 2014. She is currently the adviser to the CEO at Health Sciences North, for Philanthropy and Business Development. Mills is also special adviser and publisher emeritus to Laurentian Publishing.

Prior to her retirement from the publishing world in 2014, Patricia was the publisher of Northern Ontario Business, and founding publisher of the Northern Ontario Medical Journal, the Sudbury Mining Solutions Journal and the Sudbury Living magazine group and all of their affiliates.
