Some wacky and wild weather hit the Greater Sudbury Area today, with rain, lightning and even hail in parts of the city.
A lightning alert was issued by The Weather Network for the Greater Sudbury area earlier today.
The alert, which has since been removed, said lightning was detected in this zone early this morning, with the first strike at around 7 a.m., and the most recent strike at 8:17 a.m.
There was a total of 18 strikes.
NorthernLife.ca reader Kayla Krystia sent in a few photos of marble-sized hail that fell in Capreol earlier today.
