109.9: Yup, that's what Sudbury gas jumped to yesterday

Gas prices in Greater Sudbury have spiked over the past day, with most gas stations jumping to 109.9. There's still a few places to find cheaper gas, however. The least expensive gas in town is 101.

There's still a few places to find cheaper gas, however. The least expensive gas in town is 101.3, at the Superstore on Lasalle, according to GasBuddy.com. Esso in Garson is also charging 101.6.

The most expensive gas in town is 110.3, at Petro Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas hasn't increased, and still ranges from 97.4 to 97.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 101.2. The cheapest gas in the province, 80.9, can be found in Cornwall.

The most expensive gas in the province, as reported on GasBuddy.com, is 142.0 in Ottawa.
