Eat some Indian food Sunday, help sponsor refugee family

Sudbury's Islamic Association is holding a fundraising dinner starting at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 to assist in its efforts to sponsor a Syrian refugee family. The association is attempting to raise $15,000, which will be matched by the government.

Sudbury's Islamic Association is holding a fundraising dinner starting at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 to assist in its efforts to sponsor a Syrian refugee family.

The association is attempting to raise $15,000, which will be matched by the government. Any additional money beyond $15,000 is to be given to the sponsorship efforts of the United Church.

The dinner will take place at 111 Larch Street, and will feature Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine.
