Garbage collection will be pushed back a day in parts of Greater Sudbury due to Tuesday's winter storm, says the city.

Waste and recycling collection for households in the Wahnapitae, Wanup, Falconbridge, Val Thérèse, Hanmer, Capreol and the Richard Lake area south of the bypass that normally receive collection services every Tuesday has been delayed to Wednesday, Dec. 30.

If you live in one of the affected areas, the city asks that you have your waste and recycling at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
