Health Sciences North has recently published the fifth episode of its ongoing MythFracture series to YouTube, and it's all about CPR.

The series is meant to debunk health care-related myths.

The latest episodes looks at how CPR is presented in movies and television, and whether or not those depictions are accurate.

This past summer, the Amazing Race Canada stopped in Greater Sudbury and held one of their many challenges at the HSN Simulation Lab. While there, the teams worked with Dr. Rob Anderson, medical lead at the Simulation Lab, and the SIM technicians to perform a CPR challenge.

In episode five, the MythFracture team meets with Dr. Anderson to learn how to perform effective CPR and how to safely use an automated external defibrillator device, all while fracturing medical myths in the process.
