If you're looking for work, Home Depot is hiring. The store is hiring nearly 6,000 associates across the country to support its busy spring season, a press release said.

The company is seeking full-time, part-time and seasonal associates to ensure all 182 stores are ready to help its customers meet their spring needs.

The Sudbury store alone is looking to hire 30 people, said Home Depot public relations specialist Emily DiCarlo confirmed.

"Creating jobs and building careers is part of our competitive advantage. There's no better time than spring to join the team," said Jeff Kinnaird, president of Home Depot Canada.

"In 1996, I started my own Home Depot Canada journey in the lumber aisle. Learning new skills, on-the-job training and development planning helped me grow a meaningful career."

The Home Depot Canada has more than 400 career events scheduled across Canada.
