Construction underway on Notre Dame and LaSalle

Crews will be working at different locations in that area throughout the project's duration. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.

Safe access for pedestrians will be provided.

Improvements are planned for municipal infrastructure on Notre Dame Avenue from Pioneer Manor to Turner Avenue and on LaSalle Boulevard from O'Grady Street to the Taxation Center entrance.

Construction is expected to be complete by December 2013.

Final surface asphalt will be completed in the summer of 2014.

Improvements on Notre Dame Avenue and LaSalle Boulevard include:
-Reconstruction of the roadway, including new pavement and granulars;
-Road widening with additional turn lanes and through lanes;
-Replacement of curb and sidewalk;
-Replacement of watermain and services;
-Replacement/repairs to the storm sewer, sanitary sewer mains and services;
-Utility relocations.
