TORONTO - Toronto police are warning about a bank robber they’ve dubbed the Mummy Bandit — saying he’s becoming more aggressive.

He’s wanted for nine bank robberies since October, including two over the last two months.

Police are calling him the Mummy Bandit because he either wore make-up or a mask during most of the robberies.

But in the latest surveillance pictures, he’s not covering his face and police say he's becoming more violent, waving a handgun around and threatening those in the bank.

He's described as white, 20 to 30 years old and about five feet six inches to five feet 10 inches tall.

In one of the security camera images, he is wearing a prominent ring on his right hand.

The security images and video of the suspect are posted on the Toronto police website.
