Cabot Trail shut down after bus carrying 20 passengers crashes in Cape Breton

 NEILS HARBOUR, N.S. - RCMP in Nova Scotia say a bus carrying 20 passengers has crashed on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton.

Police say one person was seriously injuries and another eight suffered less serious injuries.

The Mounties say they received a 911 call shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

They say the crash took place three kilometres south of Neils Harbour.

Emergency Health Services Lifeflight has been dispatched to help at the scene.

Police say the Cabot Trail is closed until further notice.
