Provincial police investigating two fatal crashes in southern Ontario

 BLYTH, Ont. - Provincial police are investigating two fatal crashes in southern Ontario.

The first happened Friday afternoon just west of Blyth.

Police say 22-year old Kenneth Plunkett of North Huron died in hospital after the ATV he was riding collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer.

They say the ATV struck the rear bumper of the pickup throwing Plunkett into a ditch.

The second fatal crash happened near Dunnville Friday evening.

Haldimand OPP say the driver of a van that left the road and hit a tree was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim`s identity was being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
