The Greater Sudbury Police are warning motorists that traffic near the Caruso Club is slow-going due to the amount of striking workers heading to the club to vote.

The police are reminding people who are heading to the club to vote today, March 11, to park in a manner that does not block or hinder traffic, or block access to private property.

Motorists who are not heading to the club to vote are being asked to take a different route to avoid the traffic situation.

More information about the contract vote will be available tonight and through the weekend on NorthernLife.ca.

  • I was not impressed by them having the vote at the club. I live near the club and my brother lives in ICAN an I was so pissed off when I saw vehicles blocking their drivway including they crew from CBC. The handicap van couldn't get to the front of the building because it was being blocked. It was totally inconsiderate and a total safety hazard. Why couldn't you vote at your new place on brady its bigger then the club and a lot more parking space or at least rent a bus and have you members park at the brady location. Not impressed at all. Think about this next time you vote.
