Police find man in car, drunk

A 44-year-old man is facing multiple charges after being caught drinking in a parked vehicle on Aug. 25.

Greater Sudbury Police found the man around 4:50 p.m. parked in a parking lot on Lasalle Boulevard. While an ambulance was called to treat him, he was cleared medically, according to a press release from the police.

Inside the car, the man had a package of four alcohol coolers, two already empty. He also had his car keys.

when police tried to get a blood alcohol sample from the accused, he refused and became uncooperative.

He is facing charges of care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and refusing to provide a breath sample. He was also found to be breaking court-ordered conditions.
