A 53-year-old Greater Sudbury man and three Pointe-Calumet, Que. men, aged 29, 47, and 55, are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and consipiracy to commit an indictable offence.
The arrests took place on Aug. 27, and officers with the Greater Sudbury Police, Ontario Provincial Police, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police, seized $8,425 in cocaine, marijuana, hashish, and Percosets, $58,855.75 in Canadian currency, a 2004 Ford Escape, and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the above charges, the Greater Sudbury man faces an additional charge of possession of narcotics (other), while the three Quebec men face charges of possession of narcotics for the marijuana and hashish, and possession of prohibited weapons as they had brass knuckles.
