Three-car accident on The Kingsway closes westbound lanes

As of 5:15 p.m. Aug. 20, the vehicles involved in the collision on The Kingsway had been removed, and are no longer blocking traffic, according to a press release from Greater Sudbury Police. All three lanes are now open.

Original story:

A three-car accident at the entrance to the RioCan Centre, near Chapters, has forced the closure of westbound lanes until further notice.

A press release issued by the City of Greater Sudbury at around 4 p.m. Aug. 20 said only one eastbound lane is open at this time.

Motorists are being advised to take an alternate route if possible. 

There is no word on whether or not anybody was injured in the collision.
