Impaired driving suspect crashes into house trailer

A man is facing multiple charges after he drove his car into a house trailer on Dryden Road East in Wahnapitae Aug. 20 at around 7:45 p.m.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision, although the trailer was damaged on one side.

According to Greater Sudbury Police, after the accident, the driver was approached by the owner of the trailer. The driver then started walking towards a bush area.

Police located the driver a short time later. He was charged with impaired driving, blowing over the legal limit and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

The suspect was released from custody pending a court date.

  • clarification: enforce the penalties

  • the judiciary probably just has to enforce the rules that are there...

  • there is an epedemic of these incidents when will the madness stop. its time to increase the penalties to a level where they fear cosquences of there actions.
