The death of a 66-year-old McKerrow man has been ruled to have been of natural resources.

The deceased was found on the ground and unresponsive on Sept. 7, and taken to Espanola hospital where he was declared dead.

As he was found outside near electrical equipment and had been in the area during a rain storm, an inspector with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) was called in to assist the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the investigation into the death.

On Sept. 8, a post-mortem concluded electrocution was not a cause of death, and the causes were natural.
