Damage to a Havenbrook Street home is estimated at "well over" $10,000, after the home's owners came home and found it vandalised, Greater Sudbury Police said.

According to a press release from the police, officers were "shocked" at the extent of the damage done to the home when they responded to a break and enter on Sept. 8.

Suspects broke light fixtures, punched and kicked holes in multiple walls, shattered the bathroom shower, and marked the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and cupboards in black, blue and red graffiti.

The forensics unit attended and processed the scene for physical evidence.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Greater Sudbury Police at 705-675-9171 or Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers by phone at 705-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.sudburycrimestoppers.com, or by text message to 274637 (CRIMES), beginning with the word TIPSUD.
