Man allegedly pulls knife on paramedic

A man is facing four charges stemming from an incident in the Elm Street area on Dec. 18.

Greater Sudbury Police were called to the area after receiving a report that a man had pulled a knife on a paramedic who was at the Rainbow Centre for an unrelated manner.

Police arrested the suspect a short distance away and found the man was carrying two knives and a quantity of marijuana.

He is facing charges of threatening bodily harm, weapons dangerous, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana. He is being held for a bail hearing.
