Police check 450 vehicles in RIDE program

Greater Sudbury Police conducted a RIDE spotcheck on Feb. 26 in Chelmsford and on Paris Street.

Police checked 450 vehicles and found 14 people had been consuming alcohol. Police also charged one person with blow over .08 and breach of probation and three three-day suspensions were issued.

Thirteen charges were laid under the highway traffic act.
