Prohibited driver blows three times over legal limit

A prohibited driver was taken to police headquarters after failing a roadside breath test at 4 a.m. on Feb. 19.

Greater Sudbury Police Services located the 39-year-old Skead man in a single-vehicle collision on Skead Road. He was found to have three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

The driver's vehicle will be impounded for 90 days, and he has been charged with impaired driving, blowing over and driving while prohibited.

The man is being held for bail.

  • What are the odds that this douchebag will get bail? Keep him in jail until his trial to serve as an example to others that drink and drive. He's already proven that he can't follow restrictions imposed against him.

  • Screw impounding, he was driving illegally. Sell the vehicle at auction and donate the funds to a charity.
