Driver refuses to provide breath sample following accident

A 45-year-old woman is facing several charges following a motor vehicle collision on the Garson Coniston Road around 11 p.m. on March 25.

According to police a “2009 GMC pick-up truck headed towards Garson crossed into the path of an east bound Ford SUV.”

The truck ended up striking the SUV on the passenger side causing damage.

Police requested a breath sample from the driver of the truck, but the woman refused. She has been charged with impaired driving and fail to provide a breath sample.

Both drivers suffered “only minor injuries and were taken to Sudbury Regional Hospital for treatment.”

The accused is schedule to appear in court on April 6.
