Police charge 'erratic' driver with impaired driving

A 19-year-old man driving his vehicle “in an erratic manner” on Falconbridge Road was stopped by Greater Sudbury Police Aug. 28 at around 4:30 a.m. The suspect, who police suspected was impaired, failed to provide a breath sample.

The suspect, who police suspected was impaired, failed to provide a breath sample.

He was charged with impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample and breach of recognizance.

In addition to criminal charges, the suspect's vehicle has been impounded for seven days, and his driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days.
