The vehicle, described as yellow with a black stripe down the side, was abandoned in the area of Watson Road and Metcalfe Street in Garson.

On Jan. 11 at about 3:30 p.m., a lone man entered the Caisse Populaire brandishing an edged weapon and demanded money by passing a note to the bank teller, according to Greater Sudbury Police Service.

The suspect is described as white, about 20 years of age, with a tanned complexion and a thin build. He was wearing a red hoodie under a black coat, a baseball cap and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or the suspect is urged to call police at 705-674-7511 or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS, online at www.sudburycrimestoppers.com or by texting TIPSUD and the information to CRIMES (274637).
