Duo charged with break and enter

Police have laid charges against two people caught in the act of a break and enter on Jan. 22.

Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a call at about 8:45 p.m. of a reported break and enter in progress on Jackpine Street in Hanmer, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the back door to the residence had been kicked in. They found a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman inside the home. They were taken into custody.
 
Both have been charged with break and enter. In addition, the male was found to be on probation and was charged accordingly.

Both have been held for bail.
