Snow plow hits school bus, 1 passenger injured

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a collision between a school bus and a municipal snow plow, which took place at the intersection of Municipal Road 80 and Jeanne D'Arc Street in Valley East on Jan. 24 at 3:24 p.m.

Both vehicles were heading northbound when a portion of the snow plow struck the rear corner of the bus.

A 15-year-old female student was treated at Health Sciences North for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation by an officer from the Traffic Management Unit of the Service.
