Two people suffered minor injuries in a motor vehicle collision on The Kingsway on Jan. 31 at about 10 a.m.

Greater Sudbury Police responded to the collision that happened in the area of Silpaa Street.

The driver of a Pontiac Sunfire was attempting to exit a business on the north side of the roadway when he pulled in front of a west-bound Honda Civic. Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the collision and were taken to Health Sciences North for treatment.

The roadway was temporarily closed until the damaged vehicles could be removed.

The driver of the Pontiac was charged with failing to yield from private drive under the Highway Traffic Act, which carries a fine of $110 including victim surcharge upon conviction.
