Police locate missing woman

The missing 80-year-old woman was located in good health by members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Original Story

Greater Sudbury Police is looking for an 80-year-old Alzheimer's patient who was last seen in the York Street area.

The woman is described as being 5-4 and roughly 160 pounds. She has short curly, salt-and-pepper hair with blue eyes and glasses. Her clothing is described as a beige spring jacket, navy pants, beige shoes and a black purse.

She also has a white bracelet around one of her ankles.

She is very social; however, she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and her identity is being withheld at this time.

GSPS is asking the public's assistance in locating her.
